These are the latest plans for changes to the course. Proposed by the World Class team last year, they mean a constant, gradual gradient with an average depth of 1.2m. They mean plenty of eddies but nothing in the way of deep, stable features. And they mean filling in and blocking off all the deep pools and the back channels.
The World Class team are presenting the second generation of plans in a week, so we need to make our voice heard.

Looking at the photot banner up top, is that yer man Dan from Des Mes? I presume that they and Current Trends will be massively on hand to help out with putting the word out and ringing people,
as this would affect their business drastically.
Might be an idea to point them towards this site?

Yep – Dan’s on board, the rafters are seriously concerned, Peak and Valley are also getting involved too…
Dan still hasn’t got a new helmet…

Hah, that’s how I recognised him at first, and I was at HPP last about three or four years ago!
